Over time, even some of our most successful product lines must be updated and improved.  Most recently, our 45" x 48" x 30" solid wall bulk bin as well as the vented version of the bin, the 45" x 48" x 30" vented harvest bin. The bins were redesigned from the ground up to become quicker to produce, more efficient, lighter in weight while still retaining all of the traits that have made these bins some of our best sellers over the years. 

The newly redesigned  DGM454830-S and DGM454830-V bins are over 16% lighter than their older counterparts. Because  you pay by the pound when shipping via truckload or LTL freight, light but strong bins help maximize your profits. Using these newly redesigned bins, you can save over 1250 lbs. in shipping weight on a full-size 53’ trailer. Spending less money shipping your packaging means better return profits on your produce, grains, seeds, or other agricultural products. 

 Many things about the next-gen version of these two bins are different, but some aspects were just too good to change. The 45" x 48" x 30" solid wall bulk bins and vented harvest bins are still made of the same FDA-approved, premium injection-molded, high-impact polypropylene plastic. The bulk bins and harvest bins are non-porous, reducing contamination, especially compared to wooden crates. The vented harvest bins also include over 600 ventilation slots to help ensure adequate airflow and facilitate cooling. Both units have rounded corners and smooth interiors that help reduce abrasions and make cleaning quick and efficient. Additionally, they clamshell into one another when empty, meaning three bins fit into the same space as two to help cut down on storage requirements when the bins are not in use and are 4-way forklift accessible for easy handling.
